Pets By Nature exists to give pet owners who are seeking a healthier and more natural way to feed and care for their pets a reliable source of education, support, guidance, and products. We will strive to develop and maintain a reputation for honesty, integrity, and openness with respect to natural health care for companion animals. We will offer high-quality products, services, and information with the intent of helping interested pet owners learn about and practice a more natural method of pet nutrition and health care. I didnt start Pets By Nature to get rich. I started it to spread the word about raw diets and natural health care when I became convinced that these things saved Dixons life. (See Dixons Story for a full account of why we switched to a raw diet and began a healthier way of life.) Pets By Nature started in 2001 as a way to help people learn and hopefully provide enough information to convince them to try a more natural way of pet rearing. I have been feeding Dixon a raw diet since 1999. Gradually, as my friends and family noticed the change in him, they, too, wanted to feed raw. I started sharing my homemade pet food, homeopathic remedies and Bach Flower Essences with family, friends, coworkers, and strangers at the doggie park. Todays Pets By Nature is a natural evolution of this gradual journey, not unlike our dogs evolution from the wild things they once were.
