Four years ago we purchased Molly, our Yellow Lab Golden Retriever. She is a beautiful dog who we became attached to very quickly. Shortly after Molly turned one year old we noticed some sneezing, chewing on her paws, and some other allergy symptoms. We called the vet and were instructed to give her Benedryl and come in for an appointment. Within a couple of hours Molly’s whole body was covered with hives. We took her into the vet right away where she was given an injection of prednisone to relieve the symptoms. The next step was to begin allergy testing.
